Dr. Thomas Todd


Thomas attended Elim Bible College in Nantwich where he undertook a three year College Diploma and also attained a degree in Divinity through the University of London. During his ministry in Portrush of 17 years he completed a part-time Masters Degree and a Doctorate with Queens University, Belfast. He has also lectured for Belfast Bible College, North and Carraig Eden Theological College, where he served as a Faculty Member. Currently he supervises the dissertations of some of the IBI Masters students whilst being the Pastor of Ballykeel Pentecostal, Ballymena.

Prof. Nathan Chiroma

Academic Dean

Rev. Dr. Chiroma is a Senior Lecturer and an ordained minister. He holds a Ph.D. and an MTh in Practical Theology from the University of Stellenbosch; a M.Div., Nairobi International School of Theology (Now International Leadership University) and BA in Theology from ECWA Seminary, Igbaja. His research and publishing interests are in the areas of youth and spiritual formation, youth mentoring, youth studies and leadership development.

Dr. Lee Eagleson

Adjunct Lecturer in Urban and Pioneer Ministries

Lee initially trained in medicine and pathology at Queen’s University, Belfast. However, experiencing a call to the ministry he then became a student for the ministry in the Presbyterian Church of Ireland. He was awarded his Master’s degree at UTC and then began his assistantship with developed into an associate ministry at Carnmoney Presbyterian Church. Having been awarded his PhD the subject of his study and passion for ministry combined in urban and pioneering ministries. He is currently pioneering a church plant in Belfast on the Somerton Road.

Danielle Patton

Adjunct Lecturer in Theology and Church History

Danielle Patton, originally from the United States, is passionate about learning and teaching the Scriptures. Danielle received her Bachelor’s in Theology from Queen’s University and an Associates Diploma in Biblical Studies from Belfast Bible College, she has taught Church History and New Testament Studies for eleven years. She believes it is possible to ignite a passion for the Word of God in others, while creating an awareness of the rich legacy found in Church History. She is currently involved in the Bereavement Care Services offered by the Christian charity, Care for the Family.

Rev. Alistair Bates

Adjunct Lecturer in Practical Theology (UK)

Alistair lives in Northern Ireland and is a graduate of Elim Bible College and also of Queen’s University Belfast having been awarded a BA in Social Anthropology and a BD. He is currently in the finals stages of his part-time PhD at the University of Glasgow. He has almost 30 years of pastoral ministry embracing a variety of very difference experiences and contacts. As well as being the Operational Director for the UK, he is also the co-ordinator for Practical Theology.
